Project Overview

Avengo came to us, looking to transform the way airbnb hosts provide local information to their guests while at the same time providing them with a secondary source of income.

As part of the engagement, Avengo wanted us to develop a brand identity, design the UI and UX of their app as well help them go to market with a marketing website and collateral.

Developing a Brand Identity

At the core of the brand kit sat a unique design device – a lock, that forms part of the logo as well as represents the unlocking of opportunity for landlords to improve their customers experience. 

Developing a marketing proposition

At the heart of the Avengo model was the concept that landlords could play a larger role in the success of the stay of their guest. To deliver on this brand promise we came up with tag line ‘own the experience’.

App UX & UI

A clean, intuitive user experience is essential for user uptake and adopting. By mapping out our user journeys of all our different stakeholders we were able to design a simple and effective app for managing host requests and making local recommendations.


As always it’s the little touches that count when it comes to web design. Across the site as a whole, we balanced performance with beautifully designed assets, use of language and interactivity.
