'Answers that matter' KOL series

OVERVIEW

Shining a light on the stories that matter in diagnostics. Told by the Doctors on the front line.

Working with global diagnostics leader, Cepheid, we wrote, produced and directed the ‘Answers that matter’ series. Through the capture of 3 characterful consultants, we created short cinematic, engaging, emotive and product-centric stories that connect and position Cepheid at the heart.

Through their craft, authenticity and personal perspective our films acted as valuable thought leadership, learning and inspiration to the wider global medical community.

THE PURPOSE

Building brand + product trust through customer ambition.

In complex sectors, trust is everything, and existing customers can hold the key to driving confidence and affinity in your brand, product or service. We worked with Cepheid to interview numerous existing brand partners to find the right stories and characters for our series – ultimately settling on 3 inspiring Doctors from across the US, and across an array of medical disciplines.

We developed narratives for each interviewee in pre-production to maximise our time with them and ensure the most authentic and interesting stories were told. Through a series of interview films and wider location and story based b-roll we produced 3 episodes that drove awareness and interest in the different use cases of Cepheid’s instrumentation and diagnostic application.

POST PRODUCTION

High production value storytelling with a filmic + authentic aesthetic.

With over 50 hours of footage captured we set to work crafting our edits for each film. We first build an inspiring narrative from the interview recordings as the bed rock of each episode, utilising a combination of b-roll, walk + talk, and interview filming to craft the visual storytelling.

Our design + motion team, created a bold and impactful graphic treatment for titles and lower thirds to highlight the theme and character of each episode, before finalising each edit with a filmic colour grade and final sound mix.

To drive awareness to the series across social, we created a series trailer and episode cut downs, teasing the content and building intrigue.
